Hey Geary,

It seems Paypal does not allow me to select friends & family option from where I live in Malaysia. Can I send this to you as a business transaction and can you let me know what is the additional extra charges I will have to pay on this? I am intending to send this to a friend in Durham, North Carolina.

Thanks.

I was a member of the First GB for these Transformers.

On the weekend I was supplied my 'built for me' 1254 SUT.

Over the Past Few Days I have heard them Compared to a Ortofon Top of the Range SUT in a Solid State System, and these two differ in their performances but the 1254's excelled in allowing the Attack and Dynamics through, and only a few hours of usage on them during this experience.

Today the 1254's have been compared on a all valve System with ESL 57's
to a Stevens and Billington and Hashimoto HM-3 SUT.
The S and B owner was thoroughly impressed with both the HM-3 and 1254 and would have took the 1254 away as his choice.

The System owner was very impressed and thought these SUT's were a great find and bargain, and was sure he was hearing their SQ improve with the extended usage, to which I had to agree.

I am familiar with the Valve System and the Attack of the Notes,
Sustained Notes and Decay of the notes was offering a impression that was very pleasing.
Cymbals were very honest and shimmering in a not often heard delicacy.

I am now in a position to trial these in my Home System with the HM-3 on a all Valve MM Phonostage and on the MM Input of a very much liked MM/MC Phonostage.
I can't wait to hear them with about 50 Hours of usage, the Solder Joints should benefit from this usage.

A great experience awaits all the GB 2 Members

Hi all.

I have a dilemma. I got the 1254 specifically for a denon 103r. I’m reading all sort of information online regarding loading. Some swear that 1:40 is best some that 1:20 or 1:10 is best.
I was leaning to wire it for 1:10 as I have no low gain problem. Any recons would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Best
