Welcome to the forum...
As to the Dynaaudios, if they are not already set up for bi-wiring/passive bi-amping, then you would need to map out the crossover as a start.

Thanks Dave
Ciao Dave,
thanks a lot for your kind answer and for such a nice Forum.
The Dyna have only a pair of post and an OCOS cable input.
That's why I'm just looking on the web to get Dyna xover schemas, but it doesn't seem an easy task...
When possibile I'd like to know before opening them 🙂

Hi Dave,
"roger", as soon as I open 'em I'll share with you all 😉
Meanwhile, this weekend I'll try to close, drive and "tune" my first shiva based diy sealed sub unit (about 90 lt.), powered with a HK870 and "corrected" by a Behringer DSP.

SUB is fine
Hi all,
the SUB is sounding preety cool, powered up by a HK/870 and eq'd by a Behringer DSP.
I'm quite happy 🙂
Now, next steps will be to build the second one, and to open the Dynaudios to check the quality of components.
Do you think that a cap replacement (pgrade) would be worth the effort??

Caps can influence the sound in a possitive way. But changing the coils with lower resistance coils can change the cross-over frequency.
Caps replacement
Hi Taco,
thanks a lot for your feedback.
Ok, I would begin with a simple quality upgrade. Do you know which brand of caps Dynaudio use (if common)?
