Hi Bob,EliotA
How did the amp turn out?
Are you happy with the Lundahl chokes?
Thanks
Bob
I used Lundahl chokes in my less sophisticated build. They work well for me.

hope this helps
see, some work involved
it easy and simple making it single rail, with solid GND side, and CRC(CLC) in positive - just matter of rotating lower caps , and appropriate wiring in input side and output side
but, making negative side split, to introduce R/L in a middle....... time for exacto knife, metal ruler ( as guide for knife), 1.5mm or 2mm drill ....... and some patience
observe flipped polarity of lower caps
also observe - on left side we have Pos and Neg rail; point is - we have established B+ and GND at right side, only after each particular choke
everything else written
buzz if needed, to make it fully clear
well, Dumb ZM
it's endlessly simple to retain same physicals, and to draw new one, dedicated for single rail ............ while still having inclusion of R(L) in both legs
why 2 caps per cell - simply because when going to higher voltages, 10mF is still decent chunk and even 80Vdc is still 35mm Dia
if more needed, stacking another pcb on top is giving 40mF per cell, ending in 40mF - R(L) - 40mF
still peanut money, vs. screw type/computer grade caps, and wiring sorta neater, as portion of free lunch
tnx to uptownsquash, he asked right question, moving two gray cells of mine in right direction
price for neato/simple/potent routing is having two wire bridges

I'm excited to get my feet wet with this project and get my first ZM project under my belt!
I think 4 of these boards will get me right!? More Power More Iron 😎

disclaimer
if really new to all this ( as you said), be aware of all I wrote in opening post of this thread
nothing to worry about complexity - not really more complicated than many amps around, but there are many amps around less critical regarding parts quality and this one is really exotic regarding performance numbers
heck ........ even if I'm here just because of money, it seems I'm lousy salesman

Being forward, honest, and helpful makes you a good sales man to me! I'm fortunate to be in a position where I can build exotic/different/unordinary/etc projects. This fits the bill for me. Plus its a ZM project. It's gotta be fun right!?

to help you wrap your brain around my clumsy explanations, here are 4 possible modes for shown pcb

Hmm, that looks interesting. 🙂
Would you say that not just filtering the B+ but even the B- from the rectifier with an L would be of some sonic benefit in my Singing Bush and Lazy Singing Bush builds?
Im asking since i already have the 2 extra 159ZJ needed for the GND:s, now just taking a long vacation in my extra good and fine-parts-drawer.

more iron, the merrier

note the note, on related ( 4th) pic
though, if not having common mode (differential) choke, 2 separate simple chokes are better than single simple one
when speaking of that, I'm always remembering NEM AI-50 amp
https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/the-nem-ai-50.161663/post-2144101
beauty of that approach is - choke is sorta smallish, due to DC Flux cancellation
perfect to include with single rail PSU, and dual rail PSU for amps having properly symmetrical rails loading; on the other hand, it could be disaster using it with, say, SissySIT - negative rails is screaming while positive rail pretty much bored

Hello ZM, can You replace the D3(CGRM 4001-G) Relay delay system with a 1n 4148 diode.
Thank you in advance for your answers

Hello Zen Mod,
In order to slightly increase the activation time of 12 VDC relay, is it possible to choose a capacitor (C 10) of 1000 or 1500μF/25 V?
Thanking you in advance for your answers.

Good evening Zen mod,
The 16 v zener diode (ZD 3) in the relay delay circuit, what power do you recommend?
Thanking you in advance
