I'm talking about Wharfedale 9

Do you mean the Wharfedale Diamond 9.CS?

In general, you can't change drivers without changing the crossover.

If you provide more specific information on what you want to do, and why you need to do it, we may be able to give suggestions.

Thank you!! it's actually the wharfedale 9.cc (smaller brother) one of the two drivers, not the tweeter, has the suspension broken. So I have two wharfedale 9.sr. that I donate use anymore. The drivers looks to have the same size; the have a slightly deeper response though

The Diamond 9.CC and the Diamond 9.SR are matching parts of the Wharfedale Diamond 9 Home Cinema pack.

It is quite possible that the mid/bass drivers are interchangeable between the two.

Go ahead and swap a mid/bass driver over and find out how the centre speaker sounds - you can't do any damage by doing so.

P.S. The deeper bass response of the driver in the 9.SR will be down to the engineering of its particular enclosure.

Don't you mean the SR driver (mid/bass) is deeper than the CC driver (mid) and doesn't fit in the CC case?

Whatever, replacing the front suspension or surround of the cone is not so difficult provided you work carefully and follow instructions.

Search for "loudspeaker surround replacement" on the likes of ebay or Amazon.

Here is an example from UK ebay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12333936...kMagx7BYH|tkp:Bk9SR9C61f_aZA&var=423736432264

Scroll down and you'll find the exact measurements of the different sizes of surround that are available from that particular supplier.

Look for similar details on your local sites.

"Tacky PVA Glue" is used to attach the surround. It should be the tacky kind of PVA glue, not ordinary woodworking PVA glue.
