I would say what I got is amongst the best. It uses a 3D tracking laser for less jitter and has many other features to make it quieter and better performing with less jitter 🙂 The Plextor models can be quite expensive though. I wanted a slot loading so that I could make a nice chassis and have it look somewhat like a real player. I don't really like trays to much but you could certainly get a Plextor with a tray.
