Capacitor Question

400v may work.

Can you wire in film caps by extending their leads a bit or by installing as shown below? It's not ideal but generally doesn't cause any problems.

They do have cheaper ones that are not "precision". Have to pay to what is available, especially these days.

Do you know where to source bi-polar caps at?

With space being at a premium on a lot of amplifiers I know it can be difficult to fit 2 caps in the space provided for filter caps. I'm not sure his are bi-polar or not but if so wouldn't he need 4 caps total or are the 2 wired together like he has sufficient? Trying to learn and help at the same time.
 
What's wrong with what you had in post #22?

You were replacing 2 10uf with caps that were taking the same space.

I never found a source of bipolar electrolytics that would serve as the 10, 22 or 33uF filter caps.

I either used the 2106 film caps that I posted or two polarized caps in series. When I had to use the series caps, they often wouldn't fit in the allotted space so I have to place them elsewhere.
