Adire drivers in Quebec?

I'm looking for a dealer that could sell adire drivers (Shiva Tempest..etc) here in quebec. Anyone know a good source?

I know I can get them from Missisauga Ontario but I just realized that most ppl here complain actively about the postal service and that "**** ups" ain't better..

Feedback Appreciated!

I from Hubbards Nova Scotia and ordered all the stuff for my speakers from Solen. They were really quick and efficient. One inductor was a bit dammaged because the box got moved hard and it weights like 7lbs. The inductors have a lifetime warrenty anyway!

With respect to Zalytron: what are the customes fees like? Where there any problems ordering? What should I expect if I order something from them.?

Thanks

Huey

I'm out on the Left Coast. I am indisriminate when it comes to buying drivers.

Madisound, Martin, MCM, Parts Express, ApexJr, Solen, Radio Shack, Wilmslow, Falcon (last two are in England) and more. The only one i have had problems with was MCM. One i want to try is McBride in Toronto and Neura in vancouver.

Of late though, most of my projects are coming out of recycled drivers from 2nd hand stores and garage sales -- there are a lot of really nice drivers in really bad boxes. There is some very nice AlNiCo out there (the FE103A being a good example) -- a larger range of examples can be seen in my eBay HiFi auctions. Some excellent ceramic units as well (i found a wonderful extended range 8" Foster in some Zenith Allegro 2000s -- these need a hatchet for dissassembly).

Never, ever get UPS across the border. Post works fine. A $5 fee + the GST (and maybe the PST -- at least in BC) are all you should expect to pay -- and often the packages will slip thru with no fees.

And Ian, you are only about 20 minutes away*, have you ever visited them?

No, I have never been there. When I bought my drivers they actually brought them to my house. I was at work but my wife said the delivery guy insisted it be free. I don't know what they are trying to acomplish, but whatever it is, they have a lifetime customer in me.
