BTW, when it's Kaku, it means quarters or enclosure.

That's right it is "quarters or enclosure" or this Chinese character, pronounced as Kuo, is indeed used as walls surrounding a castle or an ancient city.

Totally off subject, are you able to read and translate the Zanden Patent?
