now, if a tree falls in a forest...no, no, no.
If the purple dots dissapear, are they still there!

Is it possible the plane is in the air? Looking from above it only appears to be on the ground. It's held by a teather in the center.

All the trees in the forest fell. It's a runway now full of rotating dots and an airplane

Back to spelling school for Chris and me -
not wooble or warble but wobble or wabble.
...or is that Chris and I?....

It most certainly is 🙂
and this coming from someone who probably posts some of the worst spelling and gramar on the forum 😉, and the scary thing is I generally know the rules (except when it comes to punctuation) and I still write some abysmal stuff on here at times 😉 I guess that is the Internet for you, gone are the days of carefully proof reading..... just bang it out and hit submit (or send in the case of email).
edit: it's weird how you will type things that you would never actually say if you were speaking!!

Tony.
edit2: arghhhhh even the rules have exceptions I typed weird, then I edited it and changed it to wierd (based on "i before e except after c", it looked wrong, checked and it should be weird)... go figure.
Actually, I thought I was joking!
I'm pretty sure it's Chris and me.
The general rule I use is take the 'and name' out and see if the sentance still sounds correct.
Edit: whoops, I meant 'name and'

OK then why does the queen always say "My husband and I" then 😉 surely you get those broadcasts in Canada too, and like a loyal subject should be intenly watching 😀 ......
Tony.
Tony.
because it's 'my husband and I would like to thank....'
remove the 'my husband and' and you have 'I would like to thank...'
...I think...

Yep, I'm in IT also as is Vikash.
IIRC from my highschool english days, it is should always be "name and I".

RdFan is right on the rules for I vs me. But, true the other person always comes first.
Good thing this is in the Off Topic section, as all y'all and I have gone way off topic.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
Until the Spellbound, or Xinha Here! plugins work in firefox 1.5,
I think I'll be spellin sum wrong wurds
Ya something went wrong when I edited so I just snipped rather than try again. It's near bedtime.

Actually, if they do stuff like firing cars into a giant target with nitrogen rams, they may go for that - on a small scale anyway 😀
They are ignoring me at the moment - I asked them to do a feature on a Saleen S7 twin turbo a couple of weeks ago and they still haven't done it 🙁

Oh yeah, IIRC the I/me rules are... if you take away the "X and" bit and it still makes sense, that's correct. I.E. the gf and me went to the pub... me went to the pub doesn't make sense so it's I.
