Calculation for woofer

Good morning everyone!
I'm having a hard time figuring out a 3-way speaker with this woofer.

The company information takes into account the trunk of the car to help with the acoustics.
But I intend to use it in my living room.
And I could not tell if the box is closed or vented.
Can someone help me about it?

WinISD - Linearteam

Add your speaker parameters if you need to.

Use WinISD to model the response. You can see suggested box volume and port sizes. Response changes with alignment.

Calculate what? First you need a suitable enclosure for the driver, use WinISD for that. Then you can start measuring it and designing the crossover.

The dimensions of the box.
If it will be ducted or sealed, for exemple.

Closed box with at least 60 liters, well stuffed with glass-wool. Do not except very low bass, it is a high efficiency design.

I belive i made a bad choice for a box that will stay in my living room.

Generally speaking, a woofer designed for automotive service (a very little volume !) can not work properly in a living room which is very larger than a car. The calculus will give an incredible big enclosure (say... 200 liters or so) and weak response for low bass.

12” woofer with an Fs of 70hz sounds a bit odd, would expect this to be 35hz for a hifi woofer and less than 30hz for a hifi sub woofer.

Yes, I saw the TS parameters of the woofer, it has high Qts (the box must be large) but also high Fs (deep bass is not possible).

Unfortunately, no.
Sell the loudspeakers and buy a better JBL/Selenium model.
