Cabinet in layers

Saw this image in another thread. That looks like a cool way to build a speakers in layers like that. If you didn't have a lot of precise tools, it might actually be easy to build one template and then use a router to but the final shape of each strip.

Anyone know of any plans online for an enclosure like that?

You could try 3d printing an enclosure !

If one would alter the path that's hidden behind the speaker and keep the mouth smooth, it would still look great and be a better enclosure right?
Just not that attractive to use glass sides etc. Or just make the mouth by stacking and more conventional ways up higher to save wood.
I do know a little bit about stacking wood (lol).

You could try 3d printing an enclosure !

It is coming (actually likely done already). No waste if you do it that way andcan be even more elaborite.

I ameagarly awaiting the day i can grow cabinets in vacuum/zero gravity using nanobots.

U put in my build Love and Passion for music and audio - not material interest, and even if you fail at first - keep going - after you finish you gonna be proud of your self and enjoy your build more then ever ...

If you watch New Yankee Workshop they have a large building full of woodworking tools.

I get away with pencil, ruler, jigsaw, drill and cordless drill as a screw driver. I use a spare piece of wood for a straight edge.

I like my cabinets covered in thin carpet so the woodworking doesn't need to be spot on.
