Thank you! It’s nice to have some constants in these crazy moments. To clarify, Tom is doing almost all the work.
The single thing I would change, to ask if somebody can bring a lapel radio microphone, so there would be no need to hunt for the speaking person with a directional shotgun.
Coolest wife on earth?
I’ve been having a rough time lately. The house is in need of all kinds of work, cars keep breaking etc. etc.
Today is my birthday. I woke up instantly thinking about nothing but the problems there are to face.
My wife handed me a card a little while ago.
When I opened it there was a piece of paper outlining flight information to and from San Francisco for the weekend of Burning Amp.

Happy Birthday! You definitely have a cool wife.

I only have hardwired lapel mikes. If I haven't cannibalized my xlr extensions I should have 50 feet or so. Let me know if you want me to bring them.
@Astromo: I think I have just the thing for you, and any others who like it hot, I'll be bringing a few cases of this years hot sauces - my other hobby. I made two types: reasonable and ridicculous!
May I reserve a bottle of reasonable, please? It’s not called Jeffrey Juice, is it?

What a gift! Happy Birthday! Mine as-well, you must be an amazing person!

HAHAHAHA!!!! No it's not called jeffrey juice. My current name of the reasonable sauce is JT vs. Tobasco. It's my interpretation of tobasco. Packs a little more of a kick. And I have one with the name Andersonix on it!
Jeffrey
Hey Jeffrey, do you need to sign a waiver to get the ridiculous one?
Looking forward at least trying the reasonable one.
Dennis
Hi Dennis!
No waiver needed. Maybe I'll bring a small ice chest with coconut popsicles. It helps cool the heat. But really it's not as intense as the peppers it's made out of. My family tells me I'm a poor judge of heat but I find the ridiculous sauce quite enjoyable.

I have XLR cables, as long as needed.
Thank you!

Okay, They are on my list of things to bring.
I use Hotels.com. They have motels on Lombard, not too far, from $150 up.Hi there! I'm contemplating a trip over to the US for this... Whilst the airfare isn't cheap, I'm sure the accommodation will be the real challenge. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Cheers,
Aren.
