Thank you Tom for pulling this together, both days were great. Also please thank Ruchi for supporting the event.
And of course, a big hand for the presenters. 🙂

It WAS great! And Tom was great!
We’ve been asked for years to have a live feed, and now that it’s been done once, BAF should be able to continue broadcasting the presentations of the live show in the future.
And when there is a live show again we can have also have people interviewing exhibitors, showing and discussing the components they have. Also cover the Amp Camp at the show, asking people building how it’s going, how hard it is, and any tips they have, and we can interview interesting people who may have presented before but aren’t that year. Lots of possibilities!

Virtual help for 2022
Its doubtful I'll make it back to SF anytime soon, so I'd also love to see the virtual offering continue at future BAF's. I'm happy to help in any way I can to see that it does, so please don't hesitate to hit me up when the time comes.

...just adding my voice to the chorus of praise for the organizers...VERY WELL DONE, Tom, et. al!

Certainly
As Pa said in one moment - "We almost had him here today"
If it wasn't for transition to Zoom-ed BAF, I would sort all Visa related things and hop there
Someone need to check is that (promised!) small Workshop in Guesthouse at SR - actually finished

The newest Pass amp - the ACA Mini! Only 4.5 inches on a side!
They will be available at the DIY Audio Store in 2022, but if you want one this year you will have to be one of the lucky winners of the raffles each day at BAF'21. Must be present to win!
Nelson has donated all parts for these, so the lucky winners will only have to pay postage.
Good luck! -Tom-
Hello,
I haven’t seen a post yet for this new ACA mini so here’s my question.
What will be the power supply requirement for this new ACA mini (ACA 2021) ?
Will it be powered with a 19 or 24Vdc SMPS ? Is a 24V, 5A overkill?
Thanks
Eric
The power supply that Nelson has selected is a 24V Meanwell that costs in the low $20 range for the quantities that Nelson buys in. What it's amp rating is I don't know.
Add an H2V1 for a preamp and you have a very nice integrated amp using the same 24v Meanwell power supply. With the addition of the SMPS filter from Mark Johnson, this could be built with a nice enclosure for reasonable money. Holiday presents for the family in 2022.

Thanks Tom
I’ll wait when more info is available before i buy the power supply.

ZM says he can’t give a presentation for language reasons, and he might have a point.
But I think it would be amusing and insightful to have him interview exhibitors!

I'd love to see ZM as a presenter someday. Either way, I definitely vote for having ZM be the first 'guest' on the PassDIY channel.
as I said before, and I realized exactly the same in 2019, when Tom arranged (blindly) presentation slot for Mighty Moi - me speaking for any longer than 5min, long gone times
I have no patience to do that in my own language, let alone in ZMEngrish
main reason is that I'm old fart, second reason is that I, objectively, maintained elasticity of my 2 fraygray cells, but me tongue is left for basic rudimentary functions - result being that I'm frustrated after 5mins, brain being on page 6, while still speaking on page 3
so, why bother
though, anything organized in written form is doable, nice and cozy chat included in short list of enjoyable forms
hehe - you can imagine recording of Pa and ZM chatting .......... approx. 36.5 (thirtysixpointfive) words per hour

that I can do, next year, in vivo
question mark sign on T-Shirt, cam-mike under the nose of exhibitor .... easypeasy
