Hi guys, for single ended output, I assume we use Out+ and Gnd? Do I have to tie Out- to Gnd as well?
With - IVY-III? Or direct? If you going direct you will probably want to AC couple and simply take +OUT and GND. Leave -OUT open.
IVY-III already has SE output.
IVY-III already has SE output.
I am using the Oliver's Lamizator board, so I am just connecting V+ and Gnd to the signal input.

Toufu,
Let us know how the Lampizator sounds with Buf11 once you make it to work. I also got the Lampizator but I'll try the Ivy 111 first.

Can you please link that Lampizator?

Sorry to be nit-picky, but I am cranky from jet-lag 😀.
It's B-II and IVY-III (roman numerals, not 11 and 111) 🙂

I connected the Buffalo to the Palicid and I got 5.5V and 18ma. But I am not getting any sound. I connected SPDIF source but got no Spdif light or Mute light, what should I do next?
Fuse
What fuse 500mA, 800mA or 1A for B II+IVY III+Placid+Placid BP all in one box & only one fuse for all?

18ma? Where?

I would use 1A.
18ma measured between V+ of the buffalo and Gnd.
I am not sure what your trying to measure. 🙂
You don't measure current from a voltage source to GND.
OK.. :0 So can you help me debug? The palicid is producing 5.5V but I got no LED on SPIDF or Mute, and no sound, what should I do next?
You should start a thread on the support forum and post some pictures. 🙂
Also make sure you set the placid for ~350ma output as per the placid manual.

Thanks Russ, I will post a thread in the forum. But can you tell me any sanity check or measurement I can take on the DAC just to make sure everything is OK or I didn't screw up anything?
When I power Buffalo II with 5.5V and nothing connected, the mute LED is alight, and the LEDs of the shunt regulator are also on. Like this:

Automute
Dear Twisted Pear:
would you please explain how the automute works and how you set up the registers for it.

If we remove any of the above ferrites we lose also the local regulators LT 1763 or just the master power?

You lose the local regulators.
