Bruno Putzeys Preampli - GB for the 6 Input Board

Well, actually the only parts that are not to be installed are the 2 relays K1 and K2 and, without saying, the XLR connectors for in and out. In the common pads of the K1 and K2 you will connect the inputs from the 6 input board. In one of my pictures you can see it.

If you do't install the relays the input component remain isolated. So there is no reason to desolder them and this make safe and easy the main GB with SMD soldered.

I have to apologize with you aradan, today I reply to you that you can use the board for other preampli just avoiding to solder the relevant SMD parts. I was at work without the schematic with me and I reply too fast... to use the board you need to bridge the resistors's pads or install a 0 ohm. Sorry about that 😱

Sounds good! I've been wanting to build a preamp for my Hypex amps for a long time and Bruno's design seems to be the right choice. Buying this would be a great start! I've put myself on the list🙂

The relays are the OMRON G6K-2F-Y-12V as mentioned in the post #1.
The other parts:
- 3 10 pins PCB connectors
- 24 SMD resistors as per latest BP Main GB BOM
- 24 SMD caps as per latest BP Main GB BOM
- 12 input XLR connectors Neutrix NC3FBV1
- 2 output XLR connectors Neutrix NC3MBV1

As I said in the post #1 I can give the final price for the soldered parts as soon the GB is closed and I have the final quantities.
FYI, the best quotation that I get as of today for 250 relays is 1,56 USD, not bad compared with the 2,5 USD from Mouser or Digikey but I am still looking around.

Well, we reach the minimum quantity and I will let the GB run until next Friday.

In the meantime I will finalize the prices for boards and parts.

This is the BOM of the SMD parts included in the "presoldered" option:

- 12 relays OMRON G6K-2F-Y-12V
- 24 SUSUMU RG2012P-101-B-T5 (as per updated BOM in the Preampli GB)
- 24 KEMET C0805C101F5GAC (as per original BOM in the preampli GB)
- 6 DIODE BAS316

The price for the above parts, soldered including the continuity test will be 45 USD (to be confirmed next Friday)

The shipping up to 2 boards will be 12 USD and the expected arrival is in 2/3 weeks.

@ aradan, I have to check the price for your delivery and I will let you know.

Dear All,

I will request the final quotation for the PCBs and I want ask you if you prefer the ENIG and HASL. The difference should be about 1.5 USD between the two (HASL will be the cheaper), so is not really a matter of money but more a technical choice.
Personally I prefer the HASL but I let you choose... democratically please 🙂
