The one next to the 33uf bypass cap from mod one. You used the green wire instead. I'm not very good describing.
You need to post a picture, I don't have an amp here to know what you are saying. 33uf or 0.33uf?
Let's see if you can answer your own question following the green line. Honestly if you can't read a simple schematic, you should learn to do that before you dive into something like this. Someone already drew lines from the schematic to these points on the amp. I literally did a step by step video on this too.
Thank you Steph, I watched the videos but it wasn't completely clear where it went. And yes someone did mark the schematic up, but different from yours. I just wanted to be damned sure before I messed up anymore. Like on pin 3 , 300b, you put a resistor between where the pin was to the g on the board, then I'm looking for where the left over resistor went. A guy showed me where, but I didn't see that you did that, and now, do I take that out and put the 1w 100ohm resistor in place attached to the top and the other end to the board where shown. I m learning but it is different.
Hi everyone, it's the confused guy again. On the 6sn7 socket steph did on video. She showed resting the led on the 680 to pin 4. I don't see on the schematic that it touches pin 4. Mind you that I am learning. Thanks for any help. When I tested it you could barely hear any from the speakers, really weak.
Check out this datasheet for a 6SN7. Now look at the schematic up in post #104. See the LED in the first gain stage? It's connected to the cathode. Check that datasheet, look for the pinout. The gain stage on the left has Pin 3 as the cathode, while the one on the right is wired to Pin 6. So you probably want to wire that LED to Pin 3.
Yes I agree, what I am not sure of, is, does that led. Connected to the 200ohm resistor from ground, touch anywhere to pin 4 as steph showed on the video?
