Hello,
I’m thinking about buying some “egg crate” acoustic foam to stick inside my mdf bass reflex enclosures. It’s very cheap on eBay. Any advice?

Seems correct, although one resistor is missing respect to the previous photo. I don't see a problem in the cap/coil placement in the upper left, but you can place them apart easily positioning the coil in the mid point between the two blocks of HP caps.

A bass reflex box usually needs some acoustic damping, but you have to try. Start applying some on the walls.

Thanks Ralf. I don’t know what that extra resistor was for in the earlier photo.. Any suggestions?

A resistor before the HP filter will raise the impedance, thus will lower the SPL. Often it will also tilt upward the FR, depending on the impedance (function) of the driver.
