Thats a lot cheaper than i paid from Toroidy but that on was potted. Think it cost me nearly £70?

Not too late! I decided I'm going to leave it open until January 1st as the PCBs would only get caught up over the festive period.

Received my board, an hour ago. Heavy little f****r with no complaints from me. Will worry ordering the toroidal from supplier in SA when I'm back there. First need to get the components together. May take a while.

Got the last bits done that I can while I await a delivery from China.

So far, everything has gone very smoothly. Board layout it very good and the quality of the PCB is far better than I'd hoped for.

The Jfets are now in place, thankfully. A magnification lens on my helping hands really came in useful.

I added some solder to the board first, on one of the pads. I then managed to solder the Jfet in place and then solder the other two legs. I then re-did the first. I suppose there may be a better way but it worked.

I've now just got to save up for a new case and wait for the bits from China and it's gonna be done!

Still waiting for a couple of folks to sort their payment out. Once received, I'll get the boards ordered.

I'll give it untill Saturday then order on Sunday.
