The 1, 2 and 5 crowns, seems to fit all sizes of TO-housing. 😀

No ******* contest at all steel is much stronger than cooper.

Cooper just moves heath faster. and I was thinking about Nikon Idea to use a heath sink worth a try

It just needs to be strong enough not to crack the plastic bodies it is clamping.

Then one would argue about the magnetic proprieties of steel but I am not here to do that.
I would be in truble then as I am using Granite as front pannels.

Either way me think that 2 screws are beter than one especially as one would not need to use the tiny little screw to go trough the hole of the mosfet (M3 in metric) but can go larger (I am using M4 bolts with the heads buried in the spreaders)

So far I have not stripped the tread on any of those.

Has any body ever stripped a tread while bolting a mosfet to the Aluminium heath sinks?

So really the Idea to use Steel bar is a fine one indeed.

Especially if one use the Kerafoll stuff that improve in performance with increased pressure.

About the tea bit I just had half a bottle of Grappa so you win again if you go for quantity or distance I get the points for flamaleability
