Found this for $450 on cNet. It's the Princeton Senergy 561.

One feature it has that's not listed above is that it has DVI input as well as analog VGA. This is a dream panel, and surprisingly cheap (compared to what's out there). I think this is a lot better than spending $300 on a Dell Inspiron laptop panel (which most have a 250:1 CR) and then spending $300 on a controller. As soon as I figure out a way to make 15" panels work on my OHP, I WILL be buying one of these for sure. I'll post pics, etc. when I do.

Phew. 🙂 That extra $250 is a jump, to go from a $200 panel to a $450 panel... is UXGA that much better for projection? I guess noone really has any experience in that though. I thought most commercial video projectors were 1024x768... but I guess if we can make a BETTER projector for LESS, that would be even better eh? Hrm. As Pooh would say, "think, think, think..... oh bother."

native resolution
That monitor has native resolution of XGA.
If you use DVI, it can handle that much. If you use analog, it might compress somehow to UXGA, but quality might suffer. And I don't know how it does this.

There comes a point in time when your resolution is higher than any movie or tv show can be... UGVGA? That is one small desktop... On an ohp , I would think the uxvga quality would be distorted sort of speak. Do you guys agree? Is there a point in time when enough is enough?
Kensington® Lock Complaint
