done
you got my email
Now lets get on discuss and explore your amplifier design here.
It is too interesting not be recognized.

One day I will make my first tube headphone amp. Some triode with high current (not lowest noise ...)
OTL .. like this one maybe
(He is living in Sweden, but immgrant from somewhere, I think):
6AS7 Mini-OTL http://www.illuwatar.se/
Then you will help me weith some advices, I hope.
HPAmps are an excellent task for using TUBES / Valves.
They really can shine for this :)
At least this is my own thinking. After seen what people say.

lineup,
would this work?

The most resposible for this design is Wavebourn. True.
I encouraged him to start his own thread.

So he forked this intesresting amplifier out of my own design:
Discrete Single End TRUE Class A HeadPhone Amplifier
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=86020&perpage=10&highlight=&pagenumber=3

This was one of first own amplifiers ever.
And still one of the best sounding I have made .. in my opinion.
Several people have built it.
I have even seen my Class A amplifier refered at other forums/websites in the world!

But the story does not end here.
I posted my 4 Transistors Class A Headphone Amp first in a destroyer HPA topic.

He did first appeciate my contribution to compare our designs, but later he got his inferior-complex. Because he maybe realized my amp was btter .. what do I know what was in his head.

So when I noticed his annoyance I made my own topic. And left his topic to DIE.
And I welcomed his intervention/contribution into 'my place'.
To keep my topic ALIVE.

I know not everbody would be pleased by getting a lot of his image collection into some topic they started.
But I do not mind 100% .. at least it can keep a topic alive in the forumlists. So more people get a chance to explore and comment.
(Actually this was what I once learned to Carlos .. now see how well he handles the technique of bumping destroyer Amplifiers every day/week, like I once told him about ;) )

Sometimes topics, like this of Wavebourn, has got a long wayback history.
This is nice :) Dont you think. Some www.diyaudio.com History and Culture.

And sure of our 3 amplifiers (Destroyer, Lineup & Wavebourn's)
this topic of Wavebourn's is perhaps the one most interesting one.
Because It introduces a new idea to us all

/lineup - tells an old story .. which explains some things still around today

Hi

I have just stumbled across this thread and it appears I have most of the parts to build Wavebourn/lineup amp.

I have just a couple of quick questions before I start.

1 . What value volume pot would you recommend for either circuit?

2 . What are the capacitor values in Wavebourn's schematic?

Any help would be really appreciated! :)
