Best Single Rail Amps?

@adason - they are 0-44VAC from the same company but produced a year appart - so they may differ just slightly.... i am not to crazy to use both to make dual rail because of that..
this is the reason i am searching for something with single rail that sounds good.... :)
Possible manufacturing tolerances wouldn't be much of an issue. Did you measure and compare the secondary voltages yet? However, the worst outcome would be that the transformer with the higher secondary voltage would become overloaded.

Btw, what's your transformers' VA rating? This is the key to answer the question whether a dual rail amplifier is a viable option or not.

So one of them will be sufficient for a stereo pair of single rail, even 4 Ω loaded amps. Following the dual rail option, both transformers would be sufficient to supply a pair of Honeybadgers, Wolverines and similar amps (there are countless designs), loaded with 8 Ω speakers, for home use.
