Best microphone transistor

I am searching for PNP replacement transistors for an audio mixing console. The stock ones (PN4355) are rather noisy. The QUIETEST transistor I have found so far is the ZTX951; but I am not sure it will also provide the least distortion. The power supply rails are +/- 18 volts. The typical microphone used would be a Shure SM-57-- ~310Ω source impedance at 1.6 mV level; so I'll need ~55 db of gain to get to line level, which will feed an OPA 1642 opamp.
Suggestions?
I remember an old data book by fairchild, where besides the type also the process or the process family was described. There was mentioned also a process family made for low noise applications (high ft and low idle resp. operating current at the same time).
Unfortunately I don't know exactly, if it was one of the showed books from the attached image.
Maybe a low voltage RF transistor like BF901 together with an ordinary BC550C in a cascode configuration is a good chioce.

Both Vbe and hFE may be important depending on the base resistors.

You can usually "just omit" the big cap. The "risk" is that the gain pot will "scratch". People who just paid the big bucks for a console are liable to complain about the least blemish on their sound. However you won't normally turn the gain knob mid-session. As long as YOU understand the trade-off, just omit the big cap until it bothers you.

However at a worst-case, input offset at maximum gain may use-up all the output swing giving reduced/no headroom. Again, you can KISS until it is a problem.
