Wish they were mine but unfortunately they are not. Here is a review 6moons audio reviews: RoadTour 14 - Komuro's 212Es of these $45,000 US amplifiers. I once had the opportunity to purchase a pair of 212E tubes I wish I would of bought them!Nice room SET12.
Do you would like inform us how is the sound of this 212E monoblocks??
Thanks
Probably! but I have never played with one as I have no interest in video games at 57 yrs of age 😀Set12 that has got to be the most vintage PlayStation ever lol!
I don't think my wife will agree with getting more amps to reduce the gas bill 😛
I should finish the 813/QB2-250 amps to warm up my office though (and keep the kids out...).
The 833 amp in the picture has been upgraded to TB3/2000 outputs some time ago. A lot better looking piece of glass 😎
Thanks for the up date! and yes I would agree! Better looking glass, I found his blog Reinouts 833A ~ TB3/1000 amp | silvercore Blog
Here is another beauty with much lower power an EML45 1.6 watt monoblock project that I designed the circuit for a friend if some of you haven't seen it already. The two of them take up 3ft by 3ft of space. The glow from within the chassis is LED biasing for a 12BH7 that is used to drive the EML45. The light listening to these amplifiers takes me back to the 1920's the sound is as astonishing as the glow.
The first version had dual rectifiers then I went to a bridge 6D22S rectifiers

SET12
Nice test, I will read it.Here is a review 6moons audio reviews: RoadTour 14 - Komuro's 212Es

Surely not the biggest one, but one of the most beautiful tubes *imho* - the Telefunken AL 1 (not to forget it's predecessor RES 964)!
Best regards!
Best regards!
i think if eimac would remake audio version of "150TL" it would be popular (at least for se guys)

Anyone ever seen a VT127A in person? Not exactly pretty, but impressive looking in a Sci-Fi way.

I have one of these. What were they used for... Radar in WWII?
Daniel
It depends of what you are going to use it for.I think it isn't practical.
I think so. Even read somewhere they were used in the radar that saw the attack on Perl Harbor coming. No idea if that's true. What were they used for... Radar in WWII?
