Not really. 6P28 is for TV line output driving. 12E1 was produced as a series pass element for voltage regulator use.
I am thinking that it is the quintessential shape of a vacuum tube that makes it look so good. It is what one would/might think of immediately when given a pencil and paper and asked to draw a vacuum tube.

I don't think my wife will agree with getting more amps to reduce the gas bill
I should finish the 813/QB2-250 amps to warm up my office though (and keep the kids out...).
The 833 amp in the picture has been upgraded to TB3/2000 outputs some time ago. A lot better looking piece of glass
