bending leads

ok, mainly can i bend the leads for the lm3886 and lm3875 chips? i have large plate like heatsinks and would like the PCB to be parrelel to the plates, so the tabs would have to be parellel as well. i figured this would be a good solution, but since manythings i try don't work, i figured i may as well ask!

If you bend them 3 times over, at the case, they'll break off. Try to bend them slightly away (1mm) from the plastic case, I do it all the time.😉

ok, i was just gonna use some hemostats to get a nice right angle bend. it makes me feel better.

I would say 90% (+/- 50%) of the time
I know the answer but want
