I listen mostly to classical music, but did not have enough courage to make test samples with such music 😉

Classical music recorded with high dynamics on CD, SACD or DVD-A becomes a horrible experience when recorded to a cassette. Cassette does not have capabilities to accept and reproduce 60dB (or more) dynamic range.

In live chess websites such as Play Chess Online - Free Chess Games at Chess.com, people are competing to get high ELO rating. Anyone with ELO rating above 2000 must have chess software at home. So it can be said that everyone has chess software, that can be easily used to guide them during any game.

Remember, chess is a competition. Here, blind test is just fun.

In the chess website, some use the software to boost their self esteem, their ego, their pride. They don't care if they don't know their own strength, they prefer to cheat on themselves.

In this audio site, such temptation cannot be compared with it is there. So, I have always been "amazed" when somebody express their suspicions on somebody else. As if everyone is the same (with themselves?) and honesty is such a rarity.

Yes, its modern (and listenable 🙂) but I don't have that.

Thinking more "mainstream" such as the romantic /classical composers. I was just trying to come up with something you liked listen to that I could try something with.

Anything from Bach to Widor 😀 (or a few Einaudi pieces)

If I record you something very dynamic would you give it a listening only test and vote on that. (with no extras like 19.2 kHz tones 😀)
