Balanced F5 question

The MOSFETs I intend to use for the regulators are 2SK3497 / 2SJ618.
Low dropout and low Zout, +ve tempco, ideal for the purpose.
I just checked at Toshiba and they have been categorised as "Not recommended for New Design".
Not yet end of line, but maybe we should also organise a GB before long.
Available at bargain prices from Digikey, but rather long delivery, I was told.

If someone would organise GB and match (we should really, even though to 0.2V and not 20mV), I shall take 20 each.
You can also try them in place of 2SK1530 / 2SJ201 in the F5 / F5X.
If you want to simulate, I have the Spice models.

You already have tons of work still lined up. So do I.
Someone else could organise this one ....

If we cannot get them we can still use 2SK1530/2SJ201 for the regulators.
But these are really End of Line, and are also much more expensive.

We'll have regulators, one way or another. 😉

I knew Zhou has them on order, but he has no time to match these days.

> even if maybe better than plain IRFPs for amplification , they look as sorta rough

That means you have not tried them. :smash:

I have not either, but I know people who has. 😀

my guess is because he wouldnt mind getting rid of some of the afore-mentioned hundreds of them to a good cause instead of buying anything at all. nice idea on the daughter board to protect low level signals.

Correct, I would happily send a couple of hundred to anyone who wanted to match them and collect a dollar or two for DIYA
