Well, I would be willing to organize it (and take over the distribution of the boards from Qwertyl, so that members would only pay the postage once), but the Nutube price at RS CZ is much higher than at RS UK... 🙁
It would really be good to have GB for tube in Europe!
Wow what’s going on here - free board and jfets - but I can see I’m to late to the game:-/
If someone is regretting I’m definitely in...
I’m from Denmark

I have decided to include 8 matched Toshiba Jfets with each, so it will
not be necessary to acquire them.

I'm back in work on the 2nd, I will remind my RS rep that he needs to be nice to keep me away from digikey😀 and see if he can sharpen his price on a box of nutubes.
If it's worthwhile I could ship a box to whoever is distributing the pcbs.
Won't know til late next week though.
That's some work you got there...😱No I have to get back to matching those Jfets......

Gyuri's balanced mania
Good thing you are able to keep your mania balanced, Gyuri.
I have been considering the need of a balanced preamp myself, as my two sources are both balanced out, one DAC and one Borbely RIAA. All other sources are digital and goes to the DAC (a TEAC BTW).
However, I am not so found of the concept of two circuits "in parallel" as the common mode noise will be passed through to the next piece of equipment, for example a crossover configured likewise. Then the common mode noise will not be rejected before the power amplifier.
To this comes the challenge of a balanced volume control.
I like the short and clean signal path and the 0 dB gain of the B-1, improving CMRR will most likely mess up this.
(Maybe one could use input transformers.)

PS. Balanced B1 Buffer
O.K.
Here it is an other question.
As you probably know, I'm a Wacky man, with my balanced mania.
I will intend to use two B1 Korg Boards balanced.
What will be then with second harmonics?
If understand well, in this case second harmonics will extinguish each other.
It will kill its charming soundscape.
Any thoughts?

I hope you have a helper or two for the matching of all of those Jfet's Nelson.
A lovely location and a nice glass of red wine will make it a more pleasant chore.
Thanks again for all of your efforts so far.

I seem to recall Mr Pass is impartial to a good glass of Cabernet Sauvignon - or 2.
Happy New Year Nelson and good luck with all that matching.

I want to thank Mr Pass for the generous gift of the pcb and jfets.
Even more grateful for generous gift of precious time to match them.

Just what Mr Pass needs, more practise at Fet matching!
Then again it is probably good therapy sitting there with the sound of the Sea Ranch surf in the background as he gets round to finding and sorting 880 matched J Fets.
