B1 wiring Help?
Do You guys know if I can hook B1 up without using the input switch
selector, would it be a matter of going straight from RCA jacks
to volume pot then to input of left and right on board.

that answer has already been posted and discussed.
Where might I find it.

A friend built a B1 and had some problems with the (admittedly cheap) input selector switch. He only has a single source anyway, so I advised him to bypass the switch and wire it directly. The rest is exactly standard as per the published design. He is now very pleased with it.

I will give that a try.
Avoiding unnecesary contact points, like switches, always brings improvements. And you reduce future spots that are going to fail with use, switches don't last infinite.

So if I avoid the the 6 input switch contacts, and also the volume
pot hookups that come off of switch input,I can just leave them unused
and it still goes thru all stages of buffer, is that correct.
B1 wiring ?

without using the input switch, and using volume only
can anyone help me please, maybe a picture diagram

Thanks,

I think you also need a jumper from L1 to the center hole for next to it and and a similar jumper from R1 to the center hole next to it to get the signal through where the switch was.
Remove R101 and R201 and remove the switch. Thats it.
Uriah
If I remove those resistors do I need to put a jumper there.
and then a jumper from R1 to common & L1 to common.
You need to jumper the switch, but not where the resistors were. Just leave them out. Just be sure you are using In 1 and not In 2 for your connections to your input RCA.

Just Curious What is the reason for removing the resistors there.
Thanks,
No real reason. Just not needed as they would no longer be a part of the circuit. If you already soldered them in, don't bother trying to remove them.

Hey Thanks for all of your Help.
Very much appreciated.
Hi
I placed the condenser type "X" ... FANTASTIC!. Removed noise on and off.
I tried the b1 with two 9V batteries in series (18V). As I listen to the power supply, except for the tiny background noise there is.
With the batteries ... absolute silence. I'm sure it enters the power supply noise.
Before building the new power supply. I would appreciate to review the circuit to see if this ok:

What color should be the leds? have different consumption by color.
Is it possible to provide two B1 with a circuit?. My preamp has 2 X B1. One for the main boxes and one for the stereo sub.
