B1 buffer load question

It is possible. But, I would expect degradation. I would be concerned with the output cap. I don't have a schemo handy but I would expect you might need to raise the output cap value to maintain your lower frequency cut-off, low enough. Also, the 200 ohm output resistor could likely go down to 25-50 ohms if your not driving long or crapy cables. 😀
 
Assuming you have not changed other components,

R = R204 + R205 || Rload = 200 + 221K||2K = 2182 ohm
Cutoff freq = 1/(2piRC) = 7.3Hz

C201 need to be 40uF to bring cutoff below 2Hz, that would be a big one. 😉

The B1 (and DCB1) are limited in output current to just less than the Idss of the selected jFETs.

They are not suitable for line level (1Vac to 3Vac) into low impedances (600ohm), nor into very long cables terminated with medium impedances (1k to 3k).

2k is just possible provided the cables are of reasonable domestic length and provided the Bass response is adjusted to suit.
