Mine will replace both channels although only one is faulty... notice also temporary switching transformer is installed to power up the amp. Looking for replacement or have the original rewind.

By the way, Very nice work you have there...
Is it possible to share the connections you have at back, if ever I decided to DIY one..?

Ojojunkie,
The connections are very straightforward. You can see the pinouts in the data sheet here:
http://www.icepower.bang-olufsen.com/files/solutions/icepower200asc_datasheet_2.4.pdf
The Neutrik Powercon and binding posts are the speaker outputs wired in parallel.
The inputs are Neutriks that take XLR or TRS balanced plugs.
The 3.5 mm is a standard stereo input for hooking up an iPod. To use that you need to connect the balanced - input signal to ground. I do that by inserting a 1/4" TR to RCA plug into the Neutriks. Which also gives me single ended RCA inputs to use.
Last are the LEDs. These are two way LEDs that are both red and green that I wire each up to the LED driver pins on the each board. That's it. If any questions let me know.
Steve
Thanks Steve for the link and connections guide.... Wish to have more time for DIY.
here's the amp now back to life..

Looks good, Ojojunkie. Glad you got it running. BTW. I still have plenty of these modules available. PM me if you want any.
tubo,
Whether or not you need a pre-amp depends on the drive capability of your source and whether or not it has a level control as well. I drive my PA amp for parties single ended (see ammo can amp pictures above) directly with a SandDisk Sansa Clip+ MP3 player and the maximum volume is definitely well below what the amplifier can put out. So in that case I really do need a pre-amp if I want to get the most performance. When I use the amp with my 8 channel mixer I get much better results. But YMMV depending on your source. My Clip+ is not a strong source.
Cheers,
Steve

Hi Flaesh,
Yes, I have 8 available if you want them
What kind of noise do you mean?
Do you mean audible or electrical noise?
I have noticed neither.

I'm not 100% sure of the answer to that question, tubo. But if you look at the data sheet you will see that B&O shows distortion numbers for 4 ohm, 8 ohm and no load connections at full power. That would lead one to believe that it is OK to run these amps without a load. But I'm no expert on the electrical characteristics of these boards so the decision, ultimately, would have to be yours. Does anyone else on this forum have a definitive answer?

It should be generally safe to run an amplifier unloaded, else it'd be marked somewhere with a big exclamation point or something."Don't you dare run this without a speaker connected!"
