A long time ago I used a keynector (safebolck) without inrush, on first close of the block it (power on) the lights dipped and the amp ran ok. Then I tried swiching it off..the block was welded permanently on...🙂

It was a good one never got it appart again..LOL

what termistor rating should i mount in this case?

In series with the primary I used CL60..you can put 2 in series depends on your mains voltage..And a MOV across the Tx..

Or make circuits like Mr Murre's modules... 🙂
