First Impression
My First Impression of this amp (after mods)
The sound looks better with Nichicon FG 100uf 35v
After 48 hours the sound looks great
BG F 100uf 50v give more detail sound
Improve in vocal, but less for bass a little
Very nice to hear this amp is so musical
Im sorry i didnt have analyzer equipment
The only one analyzer i have just my Ears
I hear a lot of commercial amplifier but
i satisfied with this amplifier (Price - Result)

And that's is usually the best indicator. Listen to a system you really admire ... then listen to your own ... The true test is: Which one do you like best?
Those of us who have played around with DIY audio know: eventually your own equipment sounds better than any commercial equipment available ... and most other folks' stuff too.

Thanks, but I need a bit higher voltage ... (I'm using Anthony's NX400 for my newer projects = more rail volts.)

Maybe not "brand new, retail", but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the NX150 modules = I have a set in my primary at home = http://3dotaudio.com/ampics.html = sure sound good to me!

When Mr Atok Purnomo came from Bandung
he meets me and we talk aussieamplifiers result
At that time he said that the bass not low enough
maybe wrong Fasa or something in audio system
Before i blame THE BGF as Hartono says as trouble
maker ( BGF must burning lifetime )
Then we try to learning the manual book first
( Jopie Preamp is a "NEW" one )
Than we "bypass CD" in "zone mode" in Rotel 1068
- And all "bass" hide now go out
- More Dynamic
- More Musical

Bass Improvment
After i hear several times
what is make sound difference
Sound of Bass String now go out
Lower and dynamic
As i remember when i go to the church
as a kid in my 6-7 years they play band
but the bass use accoustic bass
the bass is bigger than player
What i feel when i heard the song
remembering me when i hear before

You can make it the vent in your bottom plate
by milling machine, works like drilling machine
but it can goes left and rigt, up and down
with milling 3mm or 5mm
My Vent make it by ceramicman he use grinding mch
he just use hes right hand (One hand only)
he can cut the alumunium straight in a line
Yes as i known Indonesia is magical country
This is the grinding machine same as he used

I didnt close the encapsulated until now,
because of i still check for stability
ha ha ha ha im still newbie now
After that maybe i make some test with
others amplifiers
I Graduate in accounting & Post Graduate
in marketing. Not relation anything with
electronic except calculating cost material
In this amplifier I didnt give ground breaker
loop circuit yet. If i give it, i think the amplifier
will process better sound after implementation
Why i make this thread cause

im not understand anything about elecyronics
before and im thanks to Anthony he is giving
some lecture to me in the begining (if i think now
what i asked him "really2" very stupid question)
but he is realy kind and patience

some people make it the amp NX 150 and i
really hope can give me input and it happen

of expert equipment didnt have signal analyzer,
didnt have Osciloscop, output analyzer so one of
my equipment just my ears

im just a hobbiest not the audio designer and
not an audio seller ... Very Very Very sorry
