MC ready preamp stages using valves are rather rare but if you're interested have a look at my design which uses //ed 6922s and a solid state ccs.
This is one of my current designs similar to the ARC setup, works extremely well, very quiet. And a power supply similar to the one pictured with the buffered output. I did change the B+ in order to avoid elevating heater supply, to about 190VDC.
