As far as I know there were never stock 5534s in Studer machines nor in consoles. The only OpAmp I know from was a custom made type.
maybe they were 5532 but that group is in studer...i have schematics from studer that contain that chip inside....
just sold
Just sold almost all my store bought stereo equipment, nothing German, but some Swiss, Danish/Swedish stuff in there, some items from Utah, and from Canada, and an Aleph (kept the ones from Minneapolis, Haverhill and sunny SD)... The DIY items just are more fun to listen to even though they dont sound as great. But they sound good, very good.
to me.

I am looking for schematics from all series, i. e. from first series (start 1985) until currently series.Does anyone have anything more about those amps other than it is written on their site....
High-End Verstärker → ASR Audio
thanks

Can anyone explain the reasoning behind R11? The output of the opamp is already loaded quite heavily, why increase the load?

Please let me know the associated serial No to the schematic in post #46 - thank you.
But the ASR is not based on this concept. No signal voltage on the ps pins, output feeds common gate stages.
Yes, it's not strictly needed. Can anyone explain the reasoning behind R11? The output of the opamp is already loaded quite heavily, why increase the load?
I suppose it's used to drop down overall openloop gain with a namely huge R17/R18 and namely little R24/R25.
Feeding common gate through such a resistance will effectively limit widebandness by utself.
Let's think they can't cope with.
