The 4R7 output resistor only needs to be big if you are going to run full power 20 kHz sinewaves on the bench, or maybe for some non-audio application. For normal music a 1 watt should be just fine, use carbon not wirewound which are sometimes inductive and would therefore defeat the purpose.
