Some things you just need to spell out... 🙁
The point is if "they" are going to the trouble of faking it, "they" would put as much realistic detail in as possible (notice I didn't say accurate detail) to fool the idiots that have nothing better to do but sit around and challenge such things.
Personally, I don't give a poop whether they landed on the moon, I don't even question it. I have better things to do with my time.

i also saw the moon landing live on telly. what is forgotten is that a lot of what would now be black boxes was three geezers physically flying the mission, with a lot of other clever fellers advising them. the whole thing was incredibly risky, but life was cheap in them days, we had to make our own entertainment. maybe the conspiracists can tell me where they get the very thin people who do the singing and playing from inside my Quad ELS-57s - would they be shape shifting aliens perhaps?

The V-2 rockets were for the biggest part produced under terrible conditions: Principal production took place in an underground slave labor factory colocated and run with the Mittelbau-Dora concentration camp. The underground factory was itself built by slave labour, through digging massive tunnels right into the solid rock of the Harz mountains. The purpose of this was to resist allied detection and bombing, to ensure the V-2 would be made in sufficient quantity to unleash missile bombing campaigns which would ensure a German Endsieg. The factory was run by the SS, using mainly foreign nationals, mostly Eastern European. Weakened by concentration camp conditions as well as constant work, many (up to 20,000) died as part of the project. Some were killed as they attempted to sabotage the rockets. Von Braun was allegedly seen at the Mittelbau-Dora concentration camp proper, witnessing piled up dead bodies. There is no record showing von Braun protesting such killings. Later in life, von Braun said he had been ashamed of what he saw.

Ashamed that he had to work with lousy subhuman material? That makes more sense for a member of the German aristocracy, who unfortunately had never to experience a cleansing like the french one did with the help of the guillotine.

😀 That movie is ok but isn't worth watching many times, one is enough.
You got right the part about being different types of mental problems but you still don't get that the comparison you made was wrong.

Those "gurus", as fools are they may like to appear, live like that to avoid any mental conflict - that is to live without problems. Bet you they're happier than you and me. Diet helps and also a shortage of oxigen in the air I guess it also helps. If you are interested you go there and check if it works or not for you; which is what this guy did.
Now you wanted to send him to a mental institution...and save him time.

If i wanted to try acid would you recommend me to go to a insane asylum to enjoy my experience? No thank you, I'd rather go to some beautiful mountain or to a nice valley.

This thread shows how 'multidimensional ' human minds are. Except that not much of it is very constructive !
Here's a dimension that works for a lot of the human species.........

I watched Apollo 13 with my wife (then GF) years ago. She sat staring slack-jawed through the whole thing, didn't make a sound. When it was over she said "I had no idea... I sat next to Jim Lovell at a dinner once... I knew he was an astronaut but... I had no idea what he'd done... Couldn't think of how to start a conversation with him..." 😱
