Excellent, what's everyone else having? 😀

I heartily recommend Wye Valley St Georges. My friend used to make it before he moved here. Excellent small brewery and good pub!!
I am pleased to announce that Jan Didden will be giving us a talk on amp topology entitled; "Feedback, feedforward, feedbeside – it’s all rock and roll to me!".
I can't wait!

Is it a bad thing that I immediately bookmarked those pages?

Hehe, I was supposed to be at work but spent an hour browsing in the realale.com store in Twickenham. Both websites are in my work AND home bookmarks as good beer is hard to find.
I might enquire as to costs of getting a keg/pump/delivery/setup of Speckled Hen in Chesterfield.

"Speckled Hen" isn't as good as it was when Morland was an independent brewery. I'm going for the "Summer Lightning."

All the best stuff is microBrewery & doesn't get very far from home...

VI get together
Well Hello out there:
I am in for a summer get together. The weekend of the 28 july is fine for me.
My brain is not big enough to think in meglo maniac global involvement terms. But hey it sounds like fun. Maybe we could do a world sing along simalcast with Cal leading a well lubricated rendition of "Danny Boy" some time after mid night local time.
Just an idea. I will plan on attending for sure

Originating from Micro-Brew Central (yes, we're more than coffee) and the home of the best hops grown anywhere in the world, I tasted some of the Canadian micros and was pleasently surprised.
CDN Beer
Well Dave I thought about that as well........
Then I decided to think it all the way through and concluded that no good would come of it.
You see If I generated a compelling aurgument regarding the splendors of Cdn beer it would be based on local craft beer and high quality home brew. I could bring together all sorts of great Zymerological dicussion and explaination but the bottom line is that people really have to come over here to try great Cdn beer.
Well.... once they come over the same thing happens every time.......
They fall in love with Canada and Canadians and want to stay. "Oh it is so beautiful here" and "You people are so laid back and lovable" etc you know the story.
Well we already have enough trouble, Imigration Canada is way over worked and can not keep up with the demand as it is right now. So my lack of comment was strictly a magnanomus gesture to try and ease the work load of the Canadian goverment!!!! All tax payer should be happy as I may have saved us a lot of extra work.

Excellent!
Dave:
That 600k is a little optimistic and likely during the summer fishin season. Most of those folks are in the lower 25% of the island near Victoria.
It is nice and lonely up here. No pesky nieghbors.

I very much doubt a small English village hall would have the connectivity required for internet streaming. 😉

I never had in mind live streaming. It could be canned and uploaded to a server somewhere, Surely there will be someone fairly close with enuff connectivity to make that happen. And email & picture stills would be sufficient as a starting point.
dave
I can certainly put the picture stills, perhaps even video clips on the website as soon as I'm back. If the presenters are happy with it, then I can offer those for streaming perhaps.
We need to keep the right balance of formality and cosiness. This will be the first UK dA event so keeping things simple is the pathway to success. A global integration sounds cool, but at the moment the comfort zone is about audio, beer, informal chat with dA members (ameteurs and pro's alike), and some presentations which might be made public at the presenters discression.
