My (strictly personal) view:
- maybe a bit lighter of color and weight;
- maybe some clear audio thing in it like a speaker?

The website has been started! http://www.vikash.info/audio/ukdiy2007/
Sign up so we know who will be attending and what equipment will be available to admire and audition.
The link is temporary, but I will change it accordingly when we get a dedicated domain name sorted.

It won't let me sign up. Must be Labour.

Andy B notified me of this thread earlier today. An excellent idea ... except my dates clash. But if can't attend, I'll be there in spirit.
To throw in another idea, how about getting Scottmoose or similar expert along to demo Martin King's speaker software?

It had a min length requirement of three chars. I've removed it now.SY said:It won't let me sign up. Must be Labour.

The site, and event is taking shape. Please keep your suggestions coming, and also speak up if you can give an informal talk about a subject that might be of interest (you up for it scott?)
I have created a page dedicated to pics of equipment that participants will bring. If you can provide pics of them to tantalise our tastebuds further, then that would be a great addition. Email me pics and caption.

You might want to keep the equipment pics on a separate page, unlinked, and give the address to those participating, purely for security if the website is going to be generally advertised.
We will be securing the premises when unattended, but forgive me if I don't go into too much detail. 😉
Al,
Did you guys think about asking say 5 quid entrance fee? You will have things to pay for...

I for one don't mind paying a small entry fee. It'll be worth it to hear this awesome equipment you guys are bringing! I've just seen the list on Vikash's website, fantastic.
All I can offer is my humble chip pre, chip power and my modded CD63.

It would be interersting. If none of the others come at least mine will be the best! 😉
An entrance fee would be entirely expected, reasonable, and useful. Five quid seems a bit light- a pint is more than that these days.
I see that EC8010 will be making the haul up to the Midlands. He is hereby reminded that an oversized can of Summer Lightning will be greatly appreciated.

SY I don't know if it's the same thing, but near where I live is Salisbury where Summer Lightning is brewed by Hop Back Brewery. I can get you as much as you want 🙂 It's not in cans though, only bottles. Tastes better in bottles anyway.
edit: unless you mean a keg?

That's one of my favourite beers!
