Anyone tried this WUXGA controller?

I would be interested in QXGA resolution, purchasing up to a dozen of these units if we could get the controller boards for it. The resolution is 2048x1536 which can be sent through standard VGA or DVI. Most laptops have this resolution for external resolution, even small laptops.

There is only one laptop computer that has this resolution and it is a NEC 15" laptop. I found the screen here:

Controller board I am not sure about.

A. I would be interested in the WUXGA as well, but I don't know that I would be interested in the kind of quantity as I would with the QXGA.

B. I would pursue purchasing this Japan only NEC laptop if it were to gain insights into the knowledge underneath it.

A resolution of QXGA is essentially equal to a WUXGA monitor plus a WXGA when you do the resolution math. I would do this today without any hesitation if it were possible.

My direct email is with gmail, just add my handle of educationk12. I type it this way so the bots don't get my email. I am in Connecticut about 45 minutes from midtown NYC.

WUXGA Controller

Educationk12,

I've been looking like the dickens for a 15-17 inch WUXGA kit, to no avail. I think that QSXGA is overkill, but want something more than WSXGA. Do you have any further insights on how to acquire such a panel?

Custom made

Hi Hezz, Have you ever thought about using the 24' DEll LCD panel ?

Is it possible to custom made a lens and pair of fresnel for this purpose ? Thanks.

Also, I want to ask you all about the zoom lenses use in Photography ? Old manual focus zoom lenses could work for this purpose ? I guess it we would shine the light from the back out to the front. Some of these of 11+ elements.

Not sure if anyone sent them an email yet but I just did asking them if it will work with this: Sharp LQ154M1LW02 Wuxga 15.4"
I also let them know that I am a consumer not a reseller hopefully they wont feed us the same **** as other manufacturers.

Found this on the main page:
In 2004, Winmate develops into a leading OEM/ODM provider.

Is this bad news?

I think there is a newer panel, ending with a 12, not 02.
