no they dont have to post measurements 🙂 i thought it might shed some light on things. if there where.you have claims is something new. no measurements are needed, why should they?
well anyhow this topic is not going the direction i planned. i was wondering about the tech used. but it seem to get more of a bash topic s vs some people that defend the maker.
Basically it is a modified planar design which itself is not so popular.
And the price is enormous.
Envy, wonder and skepticism are involved.
Also like B&O, a lot of shape and marketing...under the hood, mediocre to average parts and build were seen.
B&O are no longer making audio systems.

there is blasphemed without any knowledge, just because the price is high.
the visible effort justifies the price
hello wrine, what do you say to my assumption that there are only pressure fluctuations in the small module because of the small distance between the membranes? also no sound.

if that would be true an amt should not work, and it clearly does. where distances of 1-2mm are not uncommon. [pleat depth would be much smaller thats true. but i used pleat depths of 10-15mm , still works, but having such small opening (1-2mm) with a pleat depth of 15 mm, woudl net result in... lower output. might be what you claim contributes to the lower output, i dont know (i believe Bolserst had an image of pleat depth vs pleat width in relation to losing output). but still there is output. i made a fast mockup with 2 planar drivers. and cant say it brings more to the table then using one of the planars as a normal planar 🙂 without the fidling around with a horific frequencies response. (less at least, since i did use the same sort of motor as they use to drive it, witch gives you a not ideal response to begin with, since its in the way of the coil thats been driven)there is blasphemed without any knowledge, just because the price is high.

my test is not a definitive this sucks or anything, but for me its enough to not spend more time on it 🙂
room acoustics
in small rooms, the limit of low frequencies is determined by the greatest length of the room. lower frequencies are then only pressure fluctuations

10 planars,he heve different datasheet,5 *Horn effect ,5 * reflecting .
I think you have a great problem in time domain.

While I cannot say that "I have seen these up close".
About three years ago I came across these being sold for $5,000 a piece online. (I do not remember the website).
At that time, I was gearing up to build some large mag-planar type transducers myself.
So, finding these online piqued my interest. But I was sure that the pricing just HAD to be a misprint.
And the specs listed for these transducers were just mind-boggling!
As in; (Either they were reverse engineering some kind of nifty alien tech. OR, it was a total scam).
THAT type of boggling...
Materials have limits. Physics has laws. And his listed specs for something that size just did not add up.
And,
"The pics I saw three years ago are the same as shown here. And my reaction to them was the same as the O.P. of this thread".
Anyway,
It took me a few days, and also a few favors called in.
But I found the company listed as having the "Applied for patent" which someone posted here already.
And also, his phone number. "Apparently this was a private, (unlisted) number".
I had tracked down the fellow who was apparently the "owner/lead engineer/head salesman", and also "phone receptionist" I was apparently seeking.
The fellow who answered on my first call to this number in So. Cal. was quite surprised. Then quite "Livid" once he realized the nature of my call.
Because I asked the same type of questions, as posed in this thread. Several calls were made over a five-day period.
"Long story short"?
It was a scam.
But someone had, at some point, an original idea. I just could not get a straight answer to any question I posed!
"Sorry guy's".

https://hifi.nl/artikel/29354/Veddan-Origin-Speakers-Revolution-from-The-Achterhoek.htmlwhat questions did you ask?
its kind of weird 🙂 many review say they are great. i got my doubts how well it measured and if why>? (most interesting part to me at least) and then some say its all lies... well it has to sound at least decent enough i guess to even have a review of hifi.nl or to find someone willing to put so much money in such a project... i would think.
so they must be doing something right i think 🙂
