Hi I tried tracing for this driver but it's not coming out well, does anyone have a good file? Thanks
Those automatic tracers sometimes have a mind of their own, but some can be constrained.
I used to use something called SPL-Trace, which would step you through frequency, and you'd click on the level at that point.. hundreds of times per plot. Plenty accurate until arthritis sets in 😉

The one built into Vituix cad is also very good.
Thats the one I prefer. Appears to work well in most cases.
Unlike spl-trace, fprawn labs' "fp graph tracer" is supposed to make things easier. May I ask what the problem was with tracing MW16P-8 that it did not turn out well?
I used to use SPL trace which was a PITA since I the info provided by manufacturer was hard to follow especially the impedance plot.
I then tried other tracers that are "auto" and they would only trace certain segments of the graph acceptable then go beserk on other sections rendering it useless.
I recently was told by someone online that my traces must not be good because they saw something that was unusual. I havent looked at them in awhile but figured since these are popular drivers someone must have a zma/frd of them.

The impedance scale is linear. You'll find both types and the tracer needs to know the difference.
Yes, this image was a real challenge. I think perfection could be had if it is cleaned up first, which would take longer than using spl-trace 😉

I always have problems with plots from that place. clicking here and there, with the auto-pick going crazy.
