The two Augies are in mono, driven in parallel by a BK plate amp. The SSI is presently driven by a Sony TA-F3 integrated. This is quite good, although I do have other options to try, some of which are still boxes of bits to build. The Augies are very good, as are the SSIs, and the GRs have had a lot of positive feedback on the Audiocircle GR forum. I haven't heard the GRs of course, but the potential is there for them to be really exceptional. The whole package of four drive units and two dedicated plate amps isn't cheap, but value still looks good. The Augies are more flexible in terms of amplifier choice of course and particularly if users already have a spare amp the cost of ownership is quite a bit lower.
