C18 "must" be lots of better than L12 or T18 coaxials, because it has much better positioning of the tweeter and cone profile. But C18 needs a bass driver, it's suspension is not suited for 2-way speakers.
I have very similar speakers to Loki, sealed with same drivers, different xo. Nice but some blooming around 3kHz

Also, the new 5 inch Seas Prestige coax with aluminum woofer is supposed to be quite good. The reviewer in Stereophile gushed over it in this commercial speaker. Seas has a very similar design posted on their web page for DIYers.

I heard those at AXPONA 2016, and was surprised that I really was disappointed in how they sounded. I felt they lacked bass extension, the midrange was thin, and everything else was fine.

^Well, that is a "compact" speaker, little sister of TAD Evolution One
CR-1 has port tuning around 40Hz and because it's stand-mount bass will suffer from floor-reflection nulling. Same applies for KingROY but it will extend marginally lower.
