I'd also like to see the possibility for analog input to continue usinge already existing gear. Otherwise this can turn into a very interesting project.

🙂 It's digital input only, but I think later we can add a ADC module for your application. But if you want to use analog input only, AMT2050 v1 through T3 can be considered.
How about including a TC2000 chip that can be switched on/off for analog inputs? Then you still have the tripath magic on analog inputs and the all digital amp for digital sources.
Sounds good. Any idea about how to switch the pwm signal? How about including a TC2000 chip that can be switched on/off for analog inputs? Then you still have the tripath magic on analog inputs and the all digital amp for digital sources.
I think both chips have a sleep mode. How about muting the outputs, switching the chip that is currently outputting into sleep mode, waking up the other, and un-muting the outputs?
I will test it later, but may be it will be next project, because I will get the pcb soon, so there are already many works waiting. 😉
I wish you luck with that.🙂 Im sure this will be a sweet sounding amplifier.😀 Keep up the good work.🙂
Whatz the lcd for ? Showing the volume setting and which input is active ?
What sample rates and formats does it accept on the digital input ?

yes, I think lcd can display more infomation, but need more time to finish.
Optical and coaxial accept 96kHz/24bit and usb 48khz/16bit.
any idea to improve?😀
IMO blue LED would be nicer. Temperature abit reluctant.
Also which dac chip are u using?
My Idea would be something like this.
Time
USB/ Tor / Coa
24 bit - 92 khz
Volume : ||||||||||||||||||||||

Sweet would love to test that thing out! I would run it 8+ hrs a day every day in place of another amp.
I like seeing the temp as I bet its showing temp near chips and in a case is a good thing to see.

We use sta320+STA50x as power DAC.
I will improve the lcd view. The LED is build-in so I can't change the color now, but I will use 2 different display later.

The temperature sensor is included in MCU, so I just don't want to waste it.😀
