I did not have sex with that woman
To hold that against clinton - what country is that snoops at the presidents crotch? What is it your g..d.m business to find out who the president had sex with? Who is asking indecent questions here?
And I am more comfortable with a "schlitzohr" than a selfrighteous ...(fill in the blanks) that can't even admit to EVER having made a mistake? A superhuman for president? God help us all!
Most simple minded people who clame to not have a problem with our self proclaimed first black president miss the real point. First, abusing his power by having atrist with a star truck little intern, then purjuring himself under oath is the problem. It's unfortunate that Lott had too many ditry little secrets of his own to hear the case in the senate.
What's wrong with holding public officials to the same standard that I hold all of my friends and my self. I believe that our president should be someone that we should be able to repect. While Dubya's domestic policys are far left of my views, I at least know that he's honest.

Because i for one do not give a hoot how, where , why and whom you have sex with. It is a personal matter, and if mrs. monica had a problem with abuse she could have filed a cmplaint. Not doing so indicates we aren dealing with consenting adults
If you think that your standard is the one you measure everybody else by - your problem too, but beware of the hypocrite. But this standard in public office - and remember, it is your standard alone and that of your friends - is only of absolutely any interest if the incumbent fails in the performance of his duty.
And sofar the incumbent that in spite of his pure and righteous being has failed and who's failure has cost over 1200 soldiers lives and ap. 17000 more or less seriously injured including about 100 000 dead irqui civilians, left a country that was half assed in tact under hussain in rubb le, completely insecure and basically a basket case is in office at present - and you compare those miserable results to a tryst in the oval office?
But - what to say abot a country where masters is even hounded by the sexually repressed after death - it is all one picture. Sex is bad - violence is good!
And that exactly is what your statement reflects. I am sorry, I do not agree. Leave the men's sex live alone, worry about how many he kills.

Sounds interesting tell us more.

You left out the smiley. This man has the selective honesty of a religious zealot. He waffles on and on about loving democracy while at the same time supporting some of the worst regimes the
planet has to offer. He congratulates Karzai at the same time as undermining him by bankrolling the warlords. He lectures about freetrade while imposing tariffs for his own electoral gain. And you moan about Clinton shagging an intern. You cannot be serious.

A program on BBC recently....someone said:
Americans are a fascinating but extremely insular people, with a profound inability to deal with other than simple truths, or 'truisms'....elementary black and white analysis of events is the order of the day.....with uncomfortable greys in between glossed over.....
.......they are generaly incapable of dispassionate analysis of third-party criticism leveled at the American state.........

Interesting but very shallow blurb, Europeans seem very insular to us Americans as well. For the most part we are both living (Europeans and Americans) in two isolated worlds, except for Great Britain, don’t forget our governments are the best of friends, and usually have like minded approaches to world affairs. Anything America is considered responsible for, goes likewise for you merry old English chaps. As far as the rest of Europe and parts of Canada, it’s obvious to the most casual observer that we have differing viewpoints on how to defend ourselves, interests, and friends.
Did you get a sex change mikeks, very strange avatar.

Yes, the government maybe, but against the will of the population. So, even here - isn't there a democratic deficit?
It is interesting to hear that the majority of the worlds population gets designated as insular when looked at from 5% of the worlds population. It is after all not only the europeans that are at present incensed with american foreign policies that seem to have abandonded even the pretense of diplomatic solutions to problems but solely seek the military ones.
They - the USA - also consciously has abandoned any attempt of multilatarlism and now blames anybody else - and for sure wants to get those "old europeans" now that the doodoo hit the fan involved again - for their problems.
They do not understand that if nations are not in agreement with the USA it is not meant as an unfriendly gesture, but has to do with:
minding their own interests
disagreeing with an assessment of a particular situation
trying to stop an ally from foolish engagements.
But apparently for americans critique aimed at their chosen actions is something akin to a declaration of war.

Using Your logic (or lack there of), it would be wrong, or "None of Our business" if clinton was a pedophile or into bestiality.
After all, What G.D. business is it of Ours?!?
If one is willing to forgo common decency standards for the leader of the worlds largest country, where do You draw the line?
Fooling around on his wife?
18 year olds?
12 year olds?
The dog?
Sheep?
????
Leaders Should be held to a higher standard, That's the whole point.

So, again, using your train of thought.....
Doing the "Normal" UN debacle, or as We like to call it "Look at what the Bad USA is doing over there, while We screw everyone over here!" is the "Correct thing to do.
Yes, works well doesn't it?!?
40 years of Nothing is a very good record indication for the futility of the UN and It's efforts.
Hows the Food for Oil thing going, oops! Sorry that didn't work well either did it!?
Saddam had 10+ years to "Do the right thing, He chose not to.
UN agreed that what he did/ was doing was wrong, but as usual, did nothing (Except what they always do, PROFIT from their own corruption) to fix or resolve it.
Germany had no interest in fixing it, They were profiting from it.
France had no interest in fixing it, They were profiting from it.
Russia had no interest in fixing it, They were profiting from it.
The UN had no interest in fixing it, They were profiting from it.
So, tell me again how this was "Working"!?!
Terrorists don't have a "Home country", so One must pursue them (And their supporters) where you find them. Hence Afghanistan, Iraq, Etc.

OK, so your children's babysitter or teacher can be a pedophile, after all, what business is it of Your's what they do in the privacy of their bedroom?

If this is what you are using for a news source, I can see why you are so misinformed.
Take off the tin-foil hat, pull up the shades, get out and visit the real world for a little while.
Oh, yes.........
Try something a little more on this side of reality.

Another one quoting something on "State" media as being factual?!?
Oh, Boy!

To pick on Clinton, adultry is not a crime in the United States under the domestic law. Purgery is a felony. What is the purpose of having a court if purgers have no consequences? He can get up in front of whoever he wants to and say what ever floats his boat at the time but when he takes the oath in a courtroom, he has two choices. He can tell the truth as he knows it or he can commit purgery....a felony. Everyone must be subject to the same law if it is to be valid, regardless of public office. Comitting a felony while in office as president is an impeachable offence. Whether or not he was removed from office, Bill was still impeached for purgery.

Yes, some call it morality. A lie is the oldest, ugliest of all sin. The very idea that we can be so smug as to try and manipulate a fixed entity like truth. If you think about it, it’s the fundamental root of all selfishness. A lie is a completely selfish and humanistic act, animals can't lie; only human’s can. In a way a lie is the true division between good and evil. Everyone lies, but not everyone uses a lie as a tool for ones desires.
You can’t follow who you can’t trust.
Don’t mistake that for me totally trusting or believing in any leader since I've been alive, cuz I don’t.
Returned major control back over to the Iraq People
Who is dreaming here, and who is wearing the tin hat? Do you really, and i mean really, believe the US government propaganda?
And I had thought people would have learned somthing about propaganda from the russians - and how to question the veracity of issued statements.
Those articles were compiled but are from newspapers that are more respectable than fox or cnn, which you seem to be using as your major source. And those numbers can be verified if you consult other than your obviously preferred sources.
@cunningham - apparently you did not read not my question completely - I find the asking of those questions indicent and inapprobriate.
BTW - the oldest trick of the so called - by themself at least - morally righteous to mix up activities between consenting adults and claerly unlawful activities - but it is all about smearing the opponent,, about closing the eyes before unpalatable facts and about lying with facts -see the facts about WMD - that is apparently completely excusable as long as it serves the purposes of those in power and those in their support.
Every empire so far has run against economic boundaries, and the US can finance its expansionism only as long as the rest of the world is willing to hold the bag for the US incurred debt.

It's run like Our PBS stations "Over Here", or in other words, it suckles off of Government subsidies/Grants. Like I said, it's just like/as Bad as Our "State" run PBS ****.
So, Whom are It's shareholders?
Who is it's competition in G.B.?
IE:Who else runs their stations with the same financial arrangements?
Who is being the Ignorant one here Skippy?

My sources are from people who are/were there!
Seeing, Living it FIRSTHAND!
Unlike your ilk, who sit an pontificate from your armchair about what you THINK you know.
Were you there?, Ever even speak with anyone who was? NO!?, I didn't think so...
You see, I know what Reality is, and it's not your favorite Television show Skippy.
You presume to speak of that which you know nothing about, and have the audacity to tell Me that I'm falling for Propaganda?!?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Look-up the "People in Glass Houses" proverb for future reference.

So, the Iraqis, Russians, Germans, French, British, and American Intelligence agencies and Your venerable U.N., and the thousands of dead Kurdish men, women, and children were all Wrong about Saddam having WMDs????
Yes, I see.....Obviously!.....What Was I thinking??? 🙄

I see.... Now it's expansionism.
Never have heard it called that. But to each his own, and to others, something else.
As far as "Incurred Debt", You can drop off your "New Share" of the cost of the UN, World hunger relief, Disaster Relief, and the myriad of everything else We pay for, at the door on Your way out.
After all, There should be plenty of $$MONEY$$ left over from the whole "Oil for Food" fiasco.
Have a Wonderful Day! 🙄
