Ha ha. no sweat. The highs are bit sharp, but to an 11 yr old and some of the so called "music" he plays through them they do just fine.
Attached is the in room response of both channels using the Bipole PVC system with the $10.00 Visaton FR 10 Drivers.
OK, success. I want to also comment on the MCM 55-4638 "bargain" driver. I received two today and promptly returned them. They are advertised as a Full Range dual cone speaker and the photo shows a whizzer equipped driver. What I received was a cheesy 4" with a
3 0z magnet and standard dome dust cap. The surround was an accordion type filled with a sticky substance and it tested at 127 Fs and sounded just as bad as it looked. some MCM Product Manager needs some education on his products.

Here is a cradle I built for use with PVC pipe speaker projects. It make drilling, sawing, or other work much easier that trying to hold or other wise clamp the pipe.
Ken,
When an upload doesn't work, go back and edit the post rather than make a new one. Make sure you choose advanced editing and choose file, then you need to click upload. If it uploads properly, you will see the file listed in the list of uploaded files prior to clicking submit. Once you figure it out it is easy. You used to do this before did you change browsers?

Bummer on the speakers KLBird. I haven't pulled the trigger yet on the 4" drivers due to friends procrastinating on what they want me to order for them.
Thanks for the advice. I have not changed browsers and as yiou say I have had success in the past. I will try again it with this post.

It worked Ken. The jig looks useful. I was at a construction site and noticed 12 in sewer pipe PVC. It is very heavy (and expensive I am sure) but would make an awesome TL. I would look into how to make a Karlson aperture or slot to make a nice pipe with reduced resonance peaks.
Very nice jig! I might have to copy your design. Thanks for sharing.
12in sch 80 sewer pipe is very heavy. We deal with 6" sch 80 and it's a bear to run up poles.

Our town is putting in new sewer lines and are using some of that 12". It is very expensive when compared to what you could build an equivalent volume in MDF or plywood. Six inch or 8 inch PVC are good candidates. With an adapter ring, the six inch 45 degree elbow will take an 8" driver. Most of the Lowes or other big box building suppliers carry the six inch PVC components. If you saw or sand it, make sure you use a dust mask.
I've also used PVC to make telescope tubes and HAM antenna masts. It fits well with most of my hobbies.
