Yeah, as exotic/beautiful as they are, they only sounded good to me in a small, over-damped room with mono Chet Atkins and similar recordings.

The 17 Oz magnet is almost as large as the speaker cone diameter, Tried it in a .5 cu inch ported, and short TL. Worked well in both with good bass and with some Eq it really
rocked. Best used with out a tweeter as there is a steady rise in the highs to about 10K with a fall off there after. At Ten bucks each they are indeed a bargain.
Here is a possible very compact MLTL one can make with this driver: 4 in wide x 3.5 in deep x 40 in long, 2 in dia x 3.75 in long vent located 4 in from bottom, driver 11.4 in from top. 3 ohm + 1.0 mH BSC if desired.
