Hi,
Just curious..
How warm gets your amp while leaving it running for about an hour?
I'm asking you this because I'm currently building a chassis for an stereo aleph 60. (each heatsink an aleph 60)
See link:
My amp..:-S
The size of each sink is 320x300x40
Hope this is enough to let it run warm..NOT hot😡
Thanks a lot.

After 1 hour it is pretty hot... Varm to the touch, but it is no problem to leave my hand on top of the sinks. I haven't actually measured the temp, but I bet it's somwhere around 50'C. After 6 hours it is a little hotter. Notice I have openings about 1 inch on the front of the bottom plate, and on the top of the back plate to get air flow through the case. I also driled some holes in the top plate, which helped some more. The temp inside the case isn't much higher than the sinks.
Temperature
Welcome to the A30 club Mad_K. I am running mine now for about 20hr's and it just keep getting better. I've played my favourite CD's (Cowboy Junkies, Dire Straits, Eric Clapton) about 10 times over recently and every time It really sounds better (hope it does not stop) 😉.
Anyway, for Remco: Here is some real measurements I made on the Aleph30. My sink dimensions are: 130 x 400 x 30 (h l w)

These temperatures was before I decided to fit fans, I think it was O.K., but now I sleep better 😉
Well done and ENJOYYYYYyyyy.

Re: Temperature
It doesn't. I am rediscovering old albums all the time, like yesterday I was listening to The Prodigy/Voodoo People at a pretty respectable volume, and I'm still amazed.. 😎

As to the very small amount of hum (from the woofer), I think it comes from the 20mV DC-offset on the outputs...
I have since discovered that "the hum" comes from my VCR (and there is also a little bit of noise from one of the channels of my cd-player). When these sources are unplugged, there is veeeery little noise/hum coming through...
I'm using BZLS, which is under revision, see:

for a little preview.
Right now I am using my CD player only (Balanced, with digital volume control).
